Applications for the MPRF £500 Grants closed on Friday 30th June after a late flurry of requests to beat the deadline. Altogether the MPRF issued 153 Grants of £500 which totalled £76,500 and 81 charities and good causes were supported.
Due to the efforts of the outgoing Provincial Grand Charity Steward, W. Bro John Briggs, the most successful charities in terms of number of awards were:
Lifelites – 20 Applications
Shooting Star Children’s Hospices – 12
Teddies for Loving Care – 8

The campaign was a great success with 93% of Lodges applying for Grants, which has resulted in a wide variety of Middlesex based charities and good causes benefitting from the sale of the Princess Alexandra Home back in 2002.
